Management Information Systems
Welcome to the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department at Vanderbilt University.
The MIS department is responsible for information systems development and core administrative information systems support. The systems are categorized into six main application areas:
- Student Administration
- Development and Alumni Relations
- Human Resources
- Financials
- Enterprise
- Medical Center Research Administration
In order to support the design, development, maintenance and on-going innovation related to the set of applications, MIS is divided into five departments:
- Consulting and Project Management
- Application Design and Architecture
- Development
- Architecture
- Strategic Services and Support
